linear actuator stroke length?
Hi,
i want to ask about the length of linear actuators,

lets look at the high force 165lbs linear actuator.
since the length of the cylinder is 110mm,how come there can be a stroke length of more than 110mm?
3,6,9,10,12"??? how is this possible?
what is clutch limiter for a linear actuator?
The diagram is confusing. Obviously it is for a specific stroke actuator. The length of the cylinder has to be a few inches longer than the stroke capability.
The actuator may be fitted with limit switches or a clutch that can slip to prevent damage to the unit if the force or stroke limitation is exceeded.
